Licensing Professionals, operating under the trading name Dynamo Training Solutions, is committed to ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all employees, contractors, learners, clients, and visitors.
We recognise our legal obligations under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and all related regulations, and we strive to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy working environment.

We aim to prevent accidents, reduce risks, and promote a strong safety culture across all aspects of our training and consultancy services.

  • Provide safe and healthy working conditions for all staff, trainers, and learners.

  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate control measures.

  • Provide relevant health and safety information, instruction, and training.

3. Scope of the Policy

This policy applies to:

  • Employees and contractors

  • Trainers and assessors

  • Clients, learners, and visitors

  • Any premises, venues, or online platforms used for training or consultancy

It covers in-person training environments, office operations, consultancy site visits, and remote working.

4. Responsibilities

Management Responsibilities

  • Implement this policy and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety checks.

  • Provide appropriate health and safety resources.

  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses promptly.

Employee & Contractor Responsibilities

  • Follow all health and safety instructions.

  • Report hazards, defects, or unsafe practices immediately.

  • Use equipment safely and responsibly.

  • Take reasonable care of their own safety and the safety of others.

Learners & Clients

  • Comply with instructions given by trainers or staff.

  • Behave in a way that does not endanger themselves or others.

  • Report concerns during training sessions or site visits.

5. Risk Assessments

We conduct risk assessments for:

  • Training venues

  • Online training platforms

  • Consultancy site visits

  • Fire safety and emergency procedures

  • Lone working

  • Manual handling where applicable

  • Equipment and technology used during training

Control measures are implemented and reviewed regularly.

6. Training & Competence

We ensure all trainers and contractors are:

  • Competent and experienced

  • Aware of emergency procedures

  • Trained in risk management relevant to their role

  • Familiar with safeguarding and first aid processes (where appropriate)

Learners receive relevant health and safety instructions at the start of each session.

7. Incident Reporting & First Aid

We maintain clear procedures for dealing with:

  • Accidents

  • Near-misses

  • Illness during training

  • Emergencies

Incidents are recorded and investigated, and corrective action is taken where required.

Where training takes place at client premises, we follow the local site’s emergency and first-aid protocols.

8. Safe Working Environments

We ensure:

  • Training rooms are clean, ventilated, and free from hazards

  • Equipment is maintained and tested

  • Emergency exits are clear

  • Online training platforms are secure and accessible

  • Travel to sites is risk-assessed where appropriate

9. Lone Working

For consultants or trainers working alone:

  • Clear communication protocols are in place

  • Travel details must be logged

  • Check-in procedures may be used for higher-risk environments

10. Fire Safety

We follow venue-specific fire procedures and ensure all learners know:

  • Fire exit locations

  • Evacuation routes

  • Assembly points

Risk assessments include fire safety considerations.

11. Monitoring & Review

This policy is reviewed annually or earlier if:

  • Legislation changes

  • Operational needs change

  • An incident indicates improvements are needed

All changes will be communicated to staff, trainers, and relevant partners.
